Antony has spent 23 years advising on investment transactions and of those 17 years specialising in retail investment agency.
He moved across to focus solely on retail investment when at DTZ in 2003 and then moved to head the In Town Retail Investment Team at Strutt and Parker to then carry on that role at BNP Paribas after BNP purchased Strutt and Parker in 2017.
Antony joined Time Retail in July 2020 to build up their investment credentials and capabilities and draw on the vast occupational knowledge and understanding to help guide investors in making the best decisions possible.
Antony has considerable experience in both buy-side and sell-side mandates having transacted well over £2 billion worth of transactions over recent years. His experience includes high street, retail parks, supermarkets and shopping centres as well as portfolio transactions. He enjoys discovering how retail functions and is always looking at external influences to see how it can evolve here in the UK. With too much retail space here at home Antony has spent much of the last 5 years looking at where the industry can repurpose to bring in other uses to keep our towns and cities relevant as they evolve in the 21st century.
Originally from the North East he is proud of his northern heritage and despite spending the majority of his working life in London his background continually makes him aware of the geographical challenges the country faces.
Away from work Antony loves his sport, whether it be watching or playing, particularly with his 2 sons. He is yet to get them hooked on his true passion, kitesurfing, but having introduced them to wakeboarding and now wake surfing surely is it only a matter of time.
