David started his career in Glasgow working with King Sturge (now JLL) and Scottish retail specialists, Culverwell before joining CBRE’s London based shopping centre leasing team in 2011.

David has a proven track record for delivering high quality leasing solutions for shopping centre landlords in all market conditions, and has worked on some of the most prominent shopping centres in the UK. His extensive experience includes new leasing projects such as Westfield Bradford and the Lexicon Bracknell as well as high profile existing centres such as Westfield Stratford City, Cabot Circus Bristol, Intu Bromley and the Friary Guildford.

David’s landlord clients have included Westfield, Hammerson, Land Securities, M&G, Lend Lease, Schroders, Hermes and L&G.
At Time Retail, his current leasing instructions include prime & regional assets including Bluewater on behalf of Landsec and Cribbs Causeway in Bristol for Intu/M&G, as well as Manchester Arndale for Intu/M&G and Princes Square Glasgow on behalf of Redevco.

David also advises a number of retailers on specific property acquisition and disposal strategies and has recently advised luxury Spanish fashion retailer, Delpozo, on their London flagship store on Sloane Street.

Outside the office David enjoys skiing, rugby and running. Recently he has completed the London and Berlin marathons. David is unfortunately an avid Luton Town FC fan and dislikes watching them lose most weekends.
