Peter joined Time Retail Partners as Consultant and Head of Lease Advisory shortly after his departure from CBRE in 2020 to set up his own business. Peter is a highly experienced Lease Advisory agent with a proven track record for dealing with first and subsequent rounds of rent reviews, lease expiries, and lease regear programmes on major shopping centres. Over recent years his role has evolved to include provision of strategic advice around lease structures and rental options to guide leasing strategy.
Having spent earlier years in more general retail professional roles, acting for both occupiers and owners, over the last 20-plus years Peter has specialised in the shopping centre market. He spent six years at Donaldsons followed by 16 years at Dalgleish/CBRE working as a key member of asset and leasing teams on centres including Bluewater, Brent Cross, Cabot Circus, Festival Place, Lakeside, Liverpool ONE, Merry Hill, The Oracle, Princesshay, and thecentre:mk for all the significant shopping centre owners.
On joining Time Retail Partners Peter was retained by Grosvenor to continue his Lease Advisory role at Liverpool ONE and was appointed in 2021 as Lease Advisory agent, working alongside our Leasing team, at Merry Hill (Sovereign Centros). More recent instructions include The Broadway Bradford (Ellandi) and Liberty Centre Romford (Rivington Hark) as well as advising a number of our retailer clients including H&M, Holland & Barrett, and Beauty Base. Peter plans to continue to work with clients to ensure that they have tenant mix strategy aligned to optimum lease and rental structures as we navigate through ongoing challenging market conditions.
Away from the office Peter lives in rural North Bucks and loves the outdoor life with his family and their dogs. Peter also recently completed the RICS Diploma in Arbitration.
