Tony has over 12 years of experience in the commercial property sector with a specific focus on retail, leisure and F&B since joining CBRE in 2010. Prior to CBRE he worked for Avison Young (formerly GVA) where he advised landlords (both private and public sector) and occupiers across retail, office and industrial sectors in Scotland.

Tony rose to Senior Director in the Shopping Centre Leasing team at CBRE with shared responsibility of leading the team.

He has advised on a variety of the most prominent shopping centres in the UK with advice centred around development, refurbishment, asset management and leasing expertise. For example, he has been involved in centre:mk, Milton Keynes where he delivered a host of key lettings and advised Hermes/Aus Super on the refurbishment and re-positioning of Silbury Arcade. Tony advised British Land throughout their £60m refurbishment providing asset management views, tenant mix advice and rent appraisals throughout.

He has provided leasing and asset management advice across projects, such as Merry Hill, Manchester Arndale, Liverpool One, Intu Bromley, Buchanan Galleries Glasgow and Broughton Park Chester.

Tony was part of the development leasing teams which delivered Westfield Bradford (now The Broadway Bradford) and Westgate Oxford on behalf of Landsec and The Crown Estate. Tony also provided development consultancy advice to Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and Hammerson on the proposed re-development of Croydon.

Tony is also active in the leisure and F&B sectors. Previously he advised British Land on their proposed £300m leisure extension of Meadowhall, leased The Atrium in Camberley and provided ongoing leasing and development advice in centre:mk with regards to leisure and F&B, in conjunction with his retail role on the asset.

Tony is currently providing holistic advice across assets such as Metrocentre, Merry Hill and Westwood Cross with a focus on driving value and elevating the mix with regards to retail, leisure and F&B. Tony is involved in the pre-leasing of the leisure and F&B developments in Merry Hill and Westwood Cross.

In addition to this, Tony is advising Sovereign Centros on their proposed mixed use development Brookfield Riverside comprising 400,000 sq ft of retail and 200,000 sq ft of leisure and F&B.

His clients have included Landsec, Hermes, Intu, British Land, Hammerson, M&G, The Crown Estate, Nuveen, Standard Life.

Away from the office, Tony is an avid sports fan and holds a season ticket at Arsenal. He also enjoys travelling and trying out new restaurants with his wife.
