We are delighted to be appointed by Ellandi as joint leasing and professional advisors on Merry Hill shopping centre.
The Merry Hill estates extends to a 1.4m sq ft shopping centre, 3 retail parks, a bus station, 10,000 free car parking spaces and a vibrant Waterfront with a growing evening economy
In addition to this, a new Metro Link will open in 2023 linking Merry Hill with the Birmingham to Wolverhampton Metro.
Merry Hill serves a catchment of 2.8m people.
Recent leasing activity includes new flagship stores for Next (75,000 sq ft), Primark (84,000 sq ft), JD (27,000 sq ft), River Island (22,000 sq ft), Mango, Hobbs, Flannels, Tag Heuer.
A recent investment of £13m to re-clad the whole exterior of the centre is well underway which will improve the arrivals experience.
Furthermore, Ellandi have confirmed an investment commitment of £50m in the next 5 years to transform the asset. The first phase of this plan is in relation to a leisure and F&B development, as well as a number of keys deals which are in the pipeline and will be announced in due course.
