We are delighted to be appointed by Sovereign Centros on the proposed development, Brookfield Riverside. This transformative £400m urban growth project is set within a 57 acre site, and will be positioned directly adjacent to the A10, 3 miles north of junction 25 of London’s M25 motorway. Brookfield Riverside is a new model for a sustainability focussed, lifestyle led town centre comprising of mixed-use retail, leisure and living in an out of town setting.
Brookfield Riverside will comprise 400,000 sq ft of retail space, 200,000 sq ft of leisure space, 100,000 sq ft of F&B with offices, a civic hub and a hotel. Additionally, there will be residential units, both PRS and assisted living.
The development will serve a population of 1.5m including the affluent boroughs of North London, Broxbourne and the wider Hertfordshire/Essex counties.
Sustainability will be at the heart of the Brookfield Riverside ethos and will be designed to integrate into the local natural surroundings, with plans for exceptional landscaping. The development opens up the New River aquifer to a create a waterfront amphitheatre for dining and leisure.
